Once Upon a Time Castle
8am to 5pm with lunch break

Once upon a time in a land far, far away… This magical quarter scale castle has lots of towers, a magical tree, and three rooms for your favorite fairy tale characters. Students can arrange the castle, towers, and tree, to create the perfect enchanted scene. You will learn basic landscaping, lots of creative uses for foam-core and Styrofoam, how to create faux stonework, faux wooden timbers and doors, realistic style painting techniques, creating washes and stains, stuccoing techniques, and how to use a foam core cutter. All skill levels welcome!
Dimensions are 19 ½” tall and the base is an 11” x 17” open book. The book is set on top of a Lazy-Susan turntable for easy access.
Teacher Provides: All paints and materials
Student Brings: Your favorite tools and brushes.
